Overview
370 Lakeside Park is located in St. Peters, Missouri
about 20 minutes west of St. Louis. It features a 140
acre lake and RV campground with full hookups. The park
also features a
4.5-mile walking/biking trail around
lake, sand Volleyball, marina, fishing,
and boating. Bikes and various watercraft can be
rented at the park.
If we ever visit the St. Louis area for an extended
stay, this will probably be our first choice of places
to stay.
We added our logo and web address to the
back of Homer III for this trip. Cool huh?
Adventure Journal
Entry Date: May, 2014
We arrived at 370 Lakeside Park just after sunset on our
first day of travel (Wild West Tour 2014). We were greeted by a friendly
ranger that showed us to our site and helped me back in. It had rained a
lot that afternoon, so we opted to stay in the camper for the rest of
the evening. The park is adjacent a highway, so there was some noise,
but minimal. The rate was very reasonable.
We awoke to a beautiful sunrise over the lake. If the sunset is anything
like the sunrise, it's well worth the stay. Beautiful! It certainly set
a positive tone for the rest of the day. I walked on the walking/biking
path a little enjoying the cool morning. There were people fishing,
biking, and walking their pets along the path. I could see fish jumping
which made me wish we had more time, but we had a pretty lively
itinerary for the second leg of of our journey.

The lake is
right there, so a short stroll from the camper is all it
takes to drop a hook. Boat rental is also available at the
marina. We didn't have a chance to fish here, but I spoke
with some locals that fish there regularly. They like it
here at 370 Lakeside Park! |

There is a 3+ mile walking/biking path around the lake. |

We didn't have time to check out the archery
range at 370 Lakeside

one! |
